Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially long distance again. Kelce’s offseason has ended, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reported to the team’s training camp in Kansas City on Sunday. Swift remains on tour in Europe.
While Kelce can no longer fly abroad to see his girlfriend whenever he wants, Swift will be able to visit Kelce in Kansas City sooner than fans might think, even though her tour doesn’t end until December.
That’s because Swift will get a substantial break soon: The singer’s European leg runs through Tuesday, August 20, when she’ll play her final show in London. After that, she’ll be off until Friday, October 18, when she plays in Miami. A source told Us Weekly in late June that Swift plans to stay with Kelce in his Kansas City home during that time. “Taylor’s been having fun decorating his Kansas City [place], and she’s looking forward to the simple joys of being together,” the insider said.
A second source said that the couple also has “daily FaceTimes when they’re apart and send cute texts to each other. They are wildly in love.”
The Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp runs through August 15. The Chiefs will then have preseason games against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears on August 17 and 22. Swift could attend the Chicago Bears game with her schedule.
Then their first game of the season, where they’ll be playing their most recent Super Bowl opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, is on September 5. Swift could easily be there, too.

A source spoke to People in early July about how Kelce sees the relationship. “Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship,” the source said. “He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart.” They said of Swift, “She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible.”
In May, the NFL denied scheduling the Chiefs’ regular season games around Swift’s tour schedule, but they did pay attention to when she’s playing for a different reason. Mike North, the NFL’s vice president of broadcast planning, said, via ESPN: “We certainly considered the tour dates that hit NFL stadiums. I think she’s in Miami, maybe New Orleans, Indy. We certainly considered those. One thing we didn’t consider, I saw a lot of conspiracy theorists talking about Kansas City at Buffalo in the middle of the season, right when Taylor’s playing Toronto. That one definitely did not hit our radar screen.”
