Angel Reese Wasted No Time Unleashing An Interesting 5-Word Message After Caitlin Clark Was Eliminated From The WNBA Playoffs

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky did not qualify for the playoffs like Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever did, but both rookies ended up winning the same amount of games in the postseason.

The Indiana Fever’s playoff run, led by WNBA rookie of the year Caitlin Clark, came to an end at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday night following a hard-fought 87-81 loss to the Connecticut Sun.

Clark closed the chapter on her rookie season with another record on this night as she became the first rookie in playoff history with at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists in a single game.

As Clark’s Indiana Fever got eliminated from the WNBA playoffs, Reese took to X, formerly Twitter, and put out a five-word message:

There’s no way to know if Reese was mocking Caitlin Clark or if she was simply putting out a statement about how she was feeling, and it had nothing to do with basketball.

Following the end of Clark’s season, fans on social media began speculating about when they might see the 22-year-old back on the court, and it does not appear that it will happen anytime soon.

Caitlin Clark Seemingly Snubs Angel Reese After Career Decision Following Playoff Elimination
Caitlin Clark is done playing basketball on many levels this year.

Clark has revealed her plans to swap the basketball court for the golf course during the offseason and will avoid spending time with the likes of Angel Reese, who committed to Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier’s new Unrivaled league, an offseason 3v3 women’s league that has offered six-figure salaries and is set to take place in Miami this January.

While many WNBA players choose to continue playing in European leagues or other leagues, Clark has decided to take a different path. She said: “I’m gonna play some golf. That’s what I’m gonna do until it becomes too cold in Indiana. I’ll become a professional golfer.
