Sofronio Vasquez, a rising star in network music competitions, has captured hearts on The Voice. Originally from the Philippines, where his passion for music grew through the country’s love of karaoke, Vasquez moved to the United States in pursuit of a brighter future.

After starting in San Diego, he settled in Utica, New York, two years ago to attend dental school. Earlier 2024, he took a bold step and auditioned for The Voice, where his journey has been nothing short of inspiring.

Recently, Sofronio showcased his talent with a soulful performance of “Everything” by his coach, Michael Bublé, on Bridge Street, accompanied by Edgar Pagán and Jim O’Mahoney.
