A total of 10,725 fans were in attendance to see Nika Muhl’s Seattle Storm take on the Chicago Sky on Friday. But Muhl was thrilled to see one particular fan in the crowd. The UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers was spotted courtside at the Climate Pledge Arena. She was wearing Muhl’s green Storm jersey to support her former teammate.
It has been just over three months since Muhl and Bueckers suited up on the court together for the Huskies. The two players share a special connection after spending the last four years together in Storrs.
Muhl was hyped to see her former teammate rocking a No. 1 Seattle Storm jersey. Shortly after the game, she shared an Instagram story with a short video of Bueckers.
“Das my twin twin,” Muhl wrote.

During an in-game interview, Bueckers reciprocated by calling Muhl her “twin.” She added that she was proud of the Croatian star for achieving her dream of playing in the WNBA.
The Huskies’ Final Four loss in April to Iowa turned out to be Muhl’s final collegiate game. 10 days later, the Seattle Storm drafted her with the 14th overall pick.
Bueckers is entering her senior year with UConn. She is projected to be one of the top picks in next year’s draft.
