There’s one song that’s been filling the walls of Jason Kelce’s house recently – and thanks to his three-year-old daughter Elliotte, there’s an adorable and hilarious lyric change that may make the song even better.

On an episode of The Pivot podcast, the former Philadelphia Eagles center was asked about Elliotte’s favorite song made by Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Jason’s brother Travis Kelce.

Jason didn’t only reveal the song, but also talked about a lyric change that his daughter does when she sings it.

‘Right now, I’ve been listening a lot to “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”, the new one,’ Jason said.

‘Elli right now, there’s a line in [the song that goes] “I’m a real tough kid, I can handle my s**t”.

‘And Elli’s three-years-old and she says, “I’m a real tough kid I can handle my stuff”. That’s all I hear on a daily basis ’cause it gets a laugh out of me every time.’

That song, off Swift’s most recent album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, currently clocks in at a modest 413.6million streams on Spotify after an initial release back in April.

Swift recently generated controversy through no fault of her own after the NFL heavily featured her in an advertisement before the season starts on Thursday.

Die-hard followers of the sport were not best pleased with the level of media coverage afforded to Swift when she attended boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games for the Kansas City Chiefs last season.

And a few days out from the opening night of the 2024 season – when defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday – the NFL has already sparked outrage for showing the pop megastar more than anyone else in its new promo.

In the video, which runs through the six calendar months of the season to show highlights from the 2023 campaign, Swift appears an incredible five times throughout.

She is first seen celebrating next to Kelce’s mom Donna at Arrowhead in two separate clips for September, before January includes her arriving at a game while wearing a custom-made ‘Kelce 87’ Chiefs jacket.

January also shows Taylor sharing a kiss with Travis on the field after Kansas City’s AFC Championship victory in Baltimore, while a clip of her chugging a beer on the big screen at last season’s Super Bowl features in February.

Meanwhile, star quarterback Brock Purdy, who inspired the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance last year, and Cincinnati Bengals counterpart Joe Burrow fail to earn a single appearance in the video.

Other high-profile players who did not feature in the promo include quarterbacks CJ Stroud (Houston Texans), Matthew Stafford (LA Rams) and Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers).

And despite being considered the face of the NFL, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes only appears at the very end of the video as he lifts the Vince Lombardi Trophy aloft.
