Blake Lively has praised her close friend Gigi Hadid for being the ‘perfect date’ to the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere.

The actress, 36, wore a Deadpool inspired look for the premiere, while Gigi, 29, rocked a Wolverine inspired outfit.

Blake, who is married to Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, also thanked her sister and best friend, actress Robyn Lively.

Her sweet note, which she shared on Friday morning, comes one day after she responded to best friend Taylor Swift’s note about Ryan where she called him her ‘godkids’ sperm donor.’

Blake shared a number of red carpet pictures to her Instagram page, along with her note.

Blake wowed in a custom Versace jumpsuit – which the actress called ‘the most stunning custom LadyPool couture I could’ve ever dreamed of’ in her Instagram note.

The stunner wore the burgundy hued one-piece to the Monday premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, which took place in New York City.

Gigi arrived in a Wolverine inspired Miu Miu look.

The stars held hands as they posed up a storm on the red carpet together.

‘What a night. The love & joy that was felt watching @deadpoolmovie was almost as potent as what I felt when I arrived and – once again – matched the carpet,’ she wrote.

‘This time with my perfect date @gigihadid,’ she added, along with a yellow heart and fire emoji.

Blake thanked her older sister Robyn Lively, 52: ‘To my sister & best friend @robynlively for coming out to NY for the big reasons & small ones ALWAYS & for bringing my other best friends, your kids @bart_johnson we missed you but can’t wait to see you on @yellowstone.’

She also thanked her own co-stars for her own movie – It Ends With Us – who came to support her and Ryan, as well as her on-screen husband Michele Morrone – who plays her husband in A Simple Favor 2.

Blake also thanked fans to close out the note: ‘Thank you to all the fans who came out, dressed to impress, THAT you did. You made the night feel something close to magic,’ she added.

Her sweet note comes one day after she responded to Taylor Swift’s cheeky note encouraging fans to go see Deadpool & Wolverine.

Taylor shared a note along with an image of her with Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, Ryan, Blake and the film’s director Shawn Levy.

The note read: ‘Over the past few years I have watched one of the best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film. He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality and an abs sandwich.’

Taylor continued, jokingly writing: ‘But that’s just Hugh for you! These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.’

Adding: ‘Deadpool and Wolverine is out tomorrow! Here’s where to buy tickets if you like things that are unspeakably awesome.’

Taylor concluded: ‘Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!’

Ryan plays Deadpool/Wade Wilson while Hugh plays Wolverine/Logan.

Blake responded back in her stories, writing: ‘Thank you @taylorswift for honoring my guy(s). I couldn’t have said it better myself. Which is unsurprising given that I have 14 less grammys and not a single sold out stadium world tour.’
