Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce is in his apology era, after accidentally hitting two fans at a charity golf tournament over the weekend.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end walked over to two fans who were accidentally struck by his golf balls. Travis Kelce‘s aim was off on two occasions over the weekend when he took on the 35th American Century Celebrity Golf Championship.

When the celebrity was playing in the event on Friday, July 12, he accidentally hit a fan in the back of the head, and later on, he did it again with a man who was standing in the crowd.

While the 34-year-old was taking part at the Lake Tahoe celebration, his ball accidentally veered off and hit a fan in the back of the head.

But the star felt bad and at the end came over to check on the woman who was sitting on the ground as someone stood behind applying pressure to her wound. She was surrounded by concerned onlookers, but there didn’t seem to be any bad blood over the mistake.

The fan, who was calm and had streaks of blood in her blond hair, spoke with Travis, who waited patiently until medics arrived.

Paramedics then aided her, and she managed to get up on her feet.

He put his arm around her and said: “The least I can do is take a picture”, as he smiled for the selfie.

Then, when the tight end went to leave to continue with the tournament, he joked: “Alright guys, I’m going to say you should probably move out of the way”.

Then, later on in the day, he struck another fan, a man standing behind the barrier.

Kelce walked over to apologize and said: “Sorry about that dude”.

As the athlete extended his arm to shake his hand, he then said: “I’ll kiss ya”, and planted a peck on the man’s shoulder, near where he was struck.

The fan smiled and the crowed laughed at his cheeky antics.

‘You still got Taylor Swift’

Travis Kelce’s luck still didn’t change the next day at the golf tournament, and he started off wobbly.

When he teed off, he said: “Oh no” in front of the crowd but they still had their back.

“You still got Taylor Swift,” yelled one fan in the audience.

Travis replied: “You ain’t lying there. Thank you for that”.

Strangely, Trav and his brother Jason Kelce joked about accidentally hitting fans during the tournament on their podcast New Heights last week.

36-year-old Jason asked his brother: “This is my first time out in Lake Tahoe, do you have any advice?”

“My advice would be just don’t feel back if you hit someone because they bought the ticket”, Trav replied.

Jason quipped back: “I don’t feel bad if I ever hit anybody”.

“It’s a bunch of amateurs out there trying to play golf so don’t feel bad,” Travis added. “People have gotten hit before. They got EMTs, whatever it’s called, they got right there at every hole. Everybody will be fine.”
