Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special – daem

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are said to be ‘way more rattled than they let on’ by the breakup ‘contract’ that appeared earlier this month and suggested a split was imminent.

Kelce’s representatives were forced to deny that the couple had plans to split after a document written on the headed paper of his US PR company was spread online.

It outlined a supposed plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’.

The paperwork stated the announcement would focus on Kelce’s ‘personal growth’ by framing the breakup as a ‘natural part of life’. It would also highlight his ‘commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry.’

Since the document emerged, the couple have enjoyed plenty of time together with Swift attending both of Kelce’s opening two NFL games with the Kansas City Chiefs.

But a new report from Life & Style magazine has revealed the couple were rocked by the scandal.

So much so, a new plan has been devised to approach their relationship in a different way.

‘Taylor’s really making a conscious effort to go with the flow a lot more now and let her hair down,’ a source said.

‘When they first got together, she was more focused on the timing of everything, when they’d have their first public date, their first public kiss, what their PR messaging would be. That’s her style, she micromanages her image and always has.

‘But at this point, she just wants to take the shackles off and let people judge them based on what comes naturally. You can see the change just based on what she wore to the game.

‘In the past she felt like she had to dress like the perfect NFL girlfriend and to her that meant head to toe team gear. This time she wore what she felt sexy in, she didn’t wear fan merch or team colors.’

The source also added that the couple would often have date nights at home to avoid the glare of the spotlight but they’re now determined to be more public and have fun, as their recent trip to New York showed.

After the Chiefs’ win over the Ravens on the NFL’s opening night, Kelce and Swift flew to the Big Apple for a busy weekend of fun.

They dined out at famous Brooklyn restaurant Lucali, attended the US Open men’s final with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes and also were guests at the wedding of model Karen Elson.

Although they were separated last week when Swift when awards the VMAs, they were quick to reunite in Kansas City last week for the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The couple have also reportedly started to consider what life may look like when Swift finally finishes her mammoth Eras Tour in December. Kelce has also admitted he is in the twilight years of his football career.

‘Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,’ a US Weekly source said on Wednesday.

‘Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.’

Kelce and Swift have been having ‘serious conversations’ about what the future holds, it’s been claimed.

‘Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes. They’re on the same page,’ the source continued.

‘They both see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later, and they both want kids.

‘Taylor has always [been excited by] the idea of marriage and starting a family. She just hadn’t found The One until now.’

Swift intends to continue watching Kelce play as much as possible before her Eras Tour resumes in Miami on October 18.
