Keanu Reeves is one of the nicest Hollywood heartthrob whom fans can’t help but gush over. It is one of the reasons why he is leading one of the most popular action franchises, The Matrix and John Wick.

In one of the scenes, the actor went shirtless which obviously is a feast for fans’ eyes but he didn’t seem to enjoy it much. In a promotional interview for the film, the interviewer asked him,
“When you see that in a script now, do you think, oh my God, and I have to go to the gym and I have to go to the things?”
He replied that he got in shape to perform his scene which he considered to be a commitment. However, he was not much excited about it.
“Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, you go, OK, well, that’s one of the responsibilities for sure. Yeah. Taking off the shirt, I don’t know if I’m like, oh yeah, I get to take my shirt off tomorrow. I don’t quite have that one.”
Despite their efforts, 47 Ronin was highly panned by critics and ultimately grossed $151 million making it one of the box-office bombs in history.

In an interview with Extra, he called the Mission: Impossible 7 actor an “amazing” personality and addressed if he would ever like to share the screen with him in the future.
“I don’t know, maybe we could be side by side with a common goal.”
While we all know how Cruise works hard to keep up with the quirky challenges that he encounters in his film, Reeves on the other side had won everyone’s heart with his acting and engaging action flicks. Not to mention, Sylvester Stallone, one of the highly popular action stars, has impressed the audience with his six packs that are tight-packed to blow one’s mind.
What’s more surprising is the fact that Stallone was actually beaten up by Reeves in the 1994 project, Speed. Film director, Jan de Bont shared why he thought the Matrix star was fit for the role.
“What is nice about him as an action hero is that he’s vulnerable on the screen. He’s not threatening to men because he’s not that bulky, and he looks great to women.”
Thanks to this role, Reeves rose to stardom as an action star which further pushed his acting career.
