Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby raved over Las Vegas Aces franchise player A’ja Wilson following the Aces’ 104-85 home win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday.

During a courtside interview after the game, Crosby gushed about the explosive play of the two-time WNBA Most Valuable Player, who put up 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while shooting 11-for-22 to lead the Aces to their 13th win of the season and become Las Vegas’ all-time scoring leader.

“She’s incredible. Obviously she’s my favorite player, but just seeing what she does is incredible. You know, she’s averaging like 27 this year, coming off back-to-back MVPs, I believe, Crosby said (h/t Paloma Villicana of Fox 5 Las Vegas).

“She’s incredible. Huge fan. We’re friends. You know, I enjoy staying connected with her and just seeing how she does it because she’s the best at what she does. So, yeah, I’m always rooting for A’ja and, you know, she’s got me in her corner for sure.”

For the record, Wilson didn’t win her MVPs in consecutive years (she won them in 2020 and 2022), but in any case, there is no denying she’s an unstoppable force on the court. So far in the 2024 campaign, Wilson is averaging 27 points and 10.9 rebounds through 20 games.

Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson prepares to be interviewed after her team’s playoff victory over the Dallas Wings at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 29, 2023.
