Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark changed the WNBA in her rookie season. While the league had gathered some positive momentum in recent years, Clark has taken the league to new heights.

Already popular from her historic collegiate career at Iowa, Clark grew in popularity throughout her historic rookie campaign. Breaking numerous league records, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds en route to a fourth place MVP finish.

The entire WNBA has benefitted from Clark’s popularity, but the impact on Indiana has been especially significant. Making a big announcement on Monday, Indiana revealed that former general manager Kelly Krauskopf will be returning to the organization as the Fever’s President of Basketball and Business Operations.

Kelly Krauskopf will return to the team as President of Basketball and Business Operations at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

welcome back, Kelly!Krauskopf had been serving as the Indiana Pacers’ assistant general manager, and while her desire to rejoin the Fever may not be directly tied to what Clark has helped create, the executive is a known fan of the star rookie.

In a post on X, @CClarkReport reshared two posts from Krauskopf that showed her support for Clark.

These two posts are not the only time Krauskopf has gone public with her opinion of Clark.

After the Iowa vs. South Carolina 2024 Women’s Championship game drew more viewers than the Men’s Championship game, Krauskopf co-signed a post crediting Clark for that development.

Krauskopf also had a welcoming post for Clark after the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer was selected first overall by Indiana in the 2024 WNBA draft.
