Martina McBride and Kelly Clarkson Join Forces for a Mind-Blowing, Powerhouse Duet of Reba’s Classic “Does He Love You” That Will Leave You Speechless./sondinh/

Kelly Clarkson & Martina McBride - Does He Love You (Live 2006)
You’d be hard-pressed to find two better vocalists on the planet.

Back in 2006, Martina McBride and Kelly Clarkson honored Reba as part of her CMT Giants feature, singing her original duet with Linda Davis, “Does He Love You.”

The 1993 heartbreaker was also the lead single from Reba’s compilation album Greatest Hits Volume Two, and was written by Billy Stritch and Sandy Knox.

The song won the Grammy award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration, as well as the CMA award for Vocal Event of the Year. It also went #1 on the Billboard U.S. Hot Country Songs chart in 1993.

It tells the story of a love triangle, where two women know the man they love is being unfaithful to both of them and they go back and forth wondering and debating who he truly loves the most.

It’s one of the most classic country female duets of all-time, and Reba actually recreated it with her friend, Dolly Parton, earlier this year.

And somehow, I’d never come across this performance of Martina and Kelly before until recently, but good Lord… those two about blew the damn roof off the building.

You can even see it a few times in Reba’s face how impressive their performance is, and in my opinion, they certainly did the original justice… and that might even be an understatement.

They’re two powerhouse vocalists in their own right, but when you combine them on a song like this, it’s unbelievable how incredible it sounds:
