Caitlin Clark Reacts to Chicago Sky’s Big Announcement About Angel Reese’s WNBA Future
The Chicago Sky made an announcement on Thursday that is sure to alter the course of their franchise.
Per a report from the Chicago Tribune, the Sky, “will break ground this fall on a purpose-built training center, delivering on team ownership’s promise to provide exclusive player facilities.”
The 40,000-square-foot facility is set to cost $38 million, expected to be completed by December 2025, and will “include amenities such as individual lockers, strength and conditioning equipment, player lounges, recovery and film rooms and a private kitchen… beauty stations and a content creation studio.”
This is a massive announcement for all Sky players, including rookie sensation Angel Reese.
And fellow rookie sensation Caitlin Clark made her feelings known about the news over social media.
And Clark liked the post.
In addition to Clark, other top tier WNBA players like Jordan Horston, Allisha Gray, and Alysha Clark all liked the post as well.
This new facility is sure to help attract top-tier free agents to Chicago, as Storm sensation Jewell Loyd noted the Sky’s sub-standard facilities as a main reason why didn’t want to sign there as a free agent.
