The Fast and the Furious franchise is one of the most popular action movie franchises of all time.
Having an incredibly impressive cast, with actors like Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, and Jason Statham, being at the forefront of the movies. With one of its key selling points being expensive cars and family, the franchise has gathered a massive following, which has helped it support over ten films, with multiple sequel and spin-off projects.
Fast X
The most recent addition to the movie series was Fast X, the tenth film and part one of a three-part finale for the original series. Due to this, the movie spared nothing when it comes to how big they would go for the fans. This, however, seems to have come at a cost as the movie fails to break even months after its release.
The Fast And The Furious Franchise Went All Out On Fast X
Fast X was truly a spectacle made for fans. The film became one of the best from the franchise very quickly for many who adored the movies. Being the build-up to nine movies that have created a legacy that will be very difficult to follow, the producers of the film went above and beyond to make sure that the movie was part of a worthy finale for the franchise. The movie featured more very intense car chases and just scenes that involved extremely expensive cars, with the most expensive being worth 3.4 million dollars.

Fast X Made No Profit Despite Being Release 4 Months Ago
Despite the fact that the movie was very quickly called one of the best in the franchise due to all the work that was put into it, as well as the fact that it was one of the most anticipated films of 2023, Fast X has received a very disappointing update in terms of its box-office performance. It would seem that the film has not even been able to meet its production budget, let known made any profits altogether despite having been released in May of this year.

The movie, famously, had the biggest budget out of all the films in the franchise, with a production allowance of $340 million, which was then increased drastically for additional expenditure on things like marketing. Recent reports have suggested that the movie would have had to gross over $800-850 million theatrically to make any sort of profit. This is quite unfortunate, as the movie has only been able to earn a total of $704.71 million worldwide.
