Nikki Glaser continued her hot streak of taking down sports stars when she showed up at the ESPY Awards.

The popular comedian, who first went viral by throwing savage jokes at Tom Brady during his Netflix roast, had a fire-blazing appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards as she took aim at Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Mahomes, and Connor McDavid as she presented the award for best male athlete.

The 40-year-old destroyed Scottie Scheffler over his arrest outside Valhalla Golf Club during the PGA Championship in May, hilariously stating, “The nominees include peak athletes who push their bodies to the limit, and also a golfer,” Glaser started. “I’m sorry, Scottie. I do know that golfing is hard. I mean, there’s putting, chipping, and driving over a cop’s leg.”

Scheffler’s arrest at the PGA Championship, which he was cleared of, had him initially charged with second-degree assault of a police officer and three other misdemeanor crimes.

Nikki Glaser took some time to throw jabs at the Edmonton Oilers and captain Connor McDavid after their loss in the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers.

“For now, the only Stanley Cup Connor [McDavid] will get to hold will be the one his wife asks him to grab out of the cabinet,” she joked.

Glaser also joked that she had been a fan of the National Football League since she “first watched Taylor Swift watch a football game.” She was clearly throwing jabs at the new football fans who started watching the sport after Swift began a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“It really changed my life because now I know who Patrick Mahomes is,” Glaser said. “Before, I only knew him as that guy in the State Farm ads, and based on his acting, I just assumed he was the CEO’s son.”

In the end, Nikki Glaser would announce that Mahomes would win the award for best male athlete.

Nikki Glaser Reacted to Tom Brady’s Regret Over Roast Jokes Upsetting His Children

Nikki Glaser was widely praised for her set during Netflix’s Tom Brady roast.

Tom Brady later admitted on “The Pivot Podcast” that he probably would not do another roast because of how the jokes affected his children.

Nikki Glaser said during an interview on “Today With Hoda & Jenna” that it’s clear Tom Brady “maybe didn’t consider the backlash from his family and how it would affect them” when he signed up for the roast.

“I also think Tom Brady does not do anything without doing his research and knowing exactly what he’s getting into,” Glaser said.

“It’s impossible to me that he didn’t consider what could have happened because there’s roast footage out there that you can watch and go, ‘They’re gonna go this hard,’” Glaser added. “But then, there’s a part of me that thinks that Tom Brady, especially given his career and how much people love him, no one’s ever said a bad thing to him in the past 30 years, so he doesn’t know what anyone’s capable of going there.”
