Brittany Mahomes clapped back at the haters following her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut.

“I’m here to tell you. People will dislike you. People will love you,” she posted on her Instagram Story Thursday alongside a sneak peek of her sizzling shoot for magazine’s upcoming 60th anniversary issue.

“Don’t let any of that define you. KEEP SHINING and being YOU.”

The mom of two appeared to be calling out the critics who argued she only landed the gig because of her husband, Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and her new status as Taylor Swift’s BFF.

But Brittany, 28, mostly received support from her followers after being named as a 2024 Swimsuit Issue rookie alongside other “women who empower.”

 

“Love it!!! She’s not just a ‘football wife.’ She’s a queen making her name known on her own and empowering girls everywhere,” one fan commented on the announcement.

“Let’s go Brittany!! My favorite rookie!! She deserves this, she takes so much crap from the public- she got the last laugh ,” another chimed in.

“Absolutely stunning!! ,” a third added.

A teaser video from the photoshoot showed the entrepreneur modeling several swimsuits in Chiefs’ red on the beach in Belize — from a tiny crocheted bikini to a strappy one-piece.

“I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen,” she told SI Swimsuit.

“I want people to know that they can accomplish anything.”

Brittany described herself as being “unapologetically always [herself] in any setting.”

She also brushed off the haters, both past and present.

“People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters,” she said.

 

“Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”

Brittany’s SI Swimsuit debut in all red comes as she prepares to cheer on her husband and the Chiefs at Super Bowl 2024, where they will face the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s unclear whether she will sit with her family or with Swift, who will attend the game to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
