Earlier this year, Chris Hemsworth raised a buzz in the entertainment world when he revealed that he wanted a break from the industry due to certain reasons.
Now after Chris Hemsworth, another MCU veteran Chris Evans has publicly admitted his fatigue from making movies. The Captain America star has not only been an integral part of the Infinity Saga of the MCU but also contributed his skills to a wide range of projects.
The role of Captain America has played a huge role in Chris Evans’ life. Among the many comic book movies, he has been a part of, the MCU franchise has made him an international icon. But it looks like the 42-year-old is too tired to continue at this point and wants to focus on some other aspects of life.
Will Chris Evans follow Chris Hemsworth’s path?

It was in June this year when Chris Hemsworth mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Tonight– “It all got a little sort of blown out of proportion.”. The Thor star revealed that he has been working for 10 hours and wants to take off now. The actor shared how he wanted to spend more time with his family. Moreover, he also found that he had a higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease than other average human beings which also motivated him to give more time to his family.
After Chris Evans‘ latest conversation with GQ, something similar is also expected from the Avengers: Endgame star. Despite not being subjected to any serious medical condition, Evans is extremely tired from his long career spanning more than two decades. He feels that he has already spent more than 20 years and doesn’t want to occupy too much space in the industry. Instead, he wants to focus on some other activities other than acting.
“Sometimes I wonder if I’m lacking some sort of—like, I think I’m a very driven person. I have a lot of energy. I wake up early, I get a lot done in a day, but it’s not always focused on acting. Sometimes reading a script is the last thing I want to do.”
Still, it doesn’t look like the fans need to worry so much right now as the actor is yet to deliver two movies this year, Red One and Pain Hustlers. While Pain Hustlers will be a Netflix project co-starring Emily Blunt, the Amazon project Red One will be an action-adventure flick alongside Dwayne Johnson.

What did Chris Evans say about Quentin Tarantino’s Marvel statement?
Quentin Tarantino
Recently, Quentin Tarantino also joined the list of other prominent celebrities who have openly called out the MCU. The Kill Bill director called out the “Marvel-ization of Hollywood” in the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast where he said:
“You have all these actors who have become famous playing these characters. But they’re not movie stars. Right? Captain America is the star. Or Thor is the star. I mean, I’m not the first person to say that. I think that’s been said a zillion times…but it’s like, you know, it’s these franchise characters that become a star.”
Earlier, Martin Scorsese also called out Marvel and refused to consider it as cinema. Soon after Tarantino’s statement, Chris Hemsworth also replied to British GQ that he doesn’t care if those films were a detriment to other films but is thankful for being a part of those.
Surprisingly, Chris Evans’ comment was contrary to his co-star as he considered the director’s statement true to some extent- “I was like, you know, he’s right. The character is the star. You’re there, but you don’t feel the burden of it.” However, Marvel boss Kevin Feige was quick to intervene and argued that it might be true in some cases but certainly not in Chris Evans’.
