The life of an actor in Hollywood may seem perfect on the outside, however, on the inside, the story’s completely different. Actor Tom Holland rose to fame in the 2000s, but his path to success wasn’t an easy one.

Today, he is well-known for his work as Spider-Man, but he still struggles to keep up with the fast-paced celebrity lifestyle. He recently opened up about his career, explaining that he loves making movies but he is not happy with how the industry works. While growing up, Holland developed a passion for dancing, something he was bullied for when he was in school. Despite the setbacks, he managed to work his way to the top.

Hollywood star Tom Holland recently appeared on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast and explained that he loves making movies but he doesn’t like the entertainment industry. The actor said,
“I really am a massive fan of making movies, but I really do not like Hollywood. It is not for me. The business really scares me. I understand that I’m a part of that business and I enjoy my kind of interactions with it, but that said, I am always looking for ways to kind of remove myself from it to kind of just live as normal a life as possible.”
Despite being one of the best, the actor still feels like he is an outsider in the industry. He admitted that he misses his normal life when he was not popular.

The actor further revealed that he saw a lot of his celebrity friends “losing themselves” in the film business,
“I’ve seen so many people come before me and lose themselves, and I’ve had friends that I’ve grown up with that aren’t friends of mine anymore because they’ve lost themselves to this business.”
The actor is currently dating Zendaya and sources have claimed that their relationship shows no signs of stopping any time soon.

Holland was nine when he decided to take dancing seriously. For two years, the actor learned ballet, tap dancing, and acrobatics. Ultimately, his work in Billy Elliot the Musical helped him gain recognition.

The shift in his career came in 2015 when Holland got the opportunity to play the iconic superhero Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He made his debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War and went on to become a crucial part of the MCU.

Today, Holland has established himself as one of the most promising young actors in Hollywood thanks to his talent and ability to portray all sorts of characters on-screen.
