Angel Reese posted her 12th consecutive double-double on Friday in an 88-84 road win over the Seattle Storm, which tied Candace Parker for the most all-time over multiple seasons.

On Sunday night, the Chicago Sky faced the Storm again, and Angel Reese continued with her record-setting pace.

The Chicago Sky rookie forward made history as she set a new record, breaking a mark once held by Chicago hoops legend Candace Parker. Reese registered her 13th consecutive double-double during Sunday’s loss against the Seattle Storm, which broke the league’s record for most consecutive double-double games.

Reese, the No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, has picked up double-doubles in every game since June 4th.

During the 84–71 loss, Reese scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, per ESPN.com.

Reese is averaging 13.9 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game as she continues to live up to the massive hype she created in college while playing at LSU.

Currently, Reese is leading the league in rebounds and also set a franchise record earlier this week with 19 boards when the team defeated the Atlanta Dream. She then followed that game up with a season-high 27 points and ten more rebounds against Seattle.

Her good play had her named to the league’s All-Star Game roster.

Angel Reese Was Crying Her Eyes Out After She Found Out She Made The All-Star Team

Angel Reese broke down in tears when she found out she made the WNBA All-Star team.

The Sky rookie was seen speaking to reporters after Chicago’s 85-77 win over the Atlanta Dream when the moment got too much for her, and she cried tears of joy.

‘We won today, but they just told me I’m an All-Star. I mean, I’m just so happy,’ Reese said.

Reese will team up with longtime rival Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Dearica Hamby, and Arika Ogunbowale when the squad takes on Team USA in Phoenix.
