The New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx have been putting on quite the show during the 2024 WNBA Finals.

One fan who’s been enjoying the best-of-five series arguably more than anyone is Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese.

The 22-year-old LSU alum has had several tweets go viral during the Finals, and she showed her excitement that the series didn’t end on Friday after the Lynx pulled off an 82-80 victory to force a winner-take-all matchup on Sunday with a simple tweet that read “GAME 5 YESSSSS.”

Reese doesn’t appear to have a rooting interest in either team, but she recently made it clear which players she’s actively rooting for in the Finals. Reese fired off another tweet after Minnesota’s win on Friday with a simple request of her followers.

“Who can make me a half stewie half phee jersey by SUNDAY????” she asked.

The tone of Reese’s tweet implies she may attend Game 5 in person to support her friends, Liberty forward Breanna Stewart and Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, who are arguably the two best players in the Finals (no offense, Sabrina Ionescu).

Stewart has averaged 37.8 minutes, 20 points, 10 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 2 blocks per game in the WNBA Finals, while Collier has averaged 39.5 minutes, 18.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4 steals, 2.8 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest.

In the postseason, Stewart leads New York in scoring (21 points per game) and rebounding (8.7 per game), and she ranks second to Ionescu in assists (3.6 per game) and steals (1.3 per game).

Conversely, Collier leads Minnesota is points (24.9), rebounds (9.1), blocks (2.1) and steals (2) per game, and she ranks third on the team in assists per game (3.4).
