This year’s WNBA rookie class has been nothing short of phenomenal as both Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky continue to make history. Most recently, Reese set the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles, passing the great Candace Parker.

Not only has she been a double-double machine, but she is on pace to make even more unbelievable history. As it currently stands, Reese would need to average just 8.4 RPG for the rest of the season to set the record for most rebounds in a single season.

This level of accomplishment can’t be understated, as rebounding at a high rate is extremely impactful on a team. As displayed by her double-double streak, she has also continued to score the ball well, which adds even more to her impact on the Sky. Despite Clark’s popularity and her incredible performances this season, it appears that Reese might have a slight edge over her in the Rookie of the Year race.
