Angel Reese was one of many who greeted rapper GloRilla on her 25th birthday on Sunday, July 28. GloRilla celebrated the occasion in Jamaica, based on her social media activity. It has been an amazing year for the “Yeah Glo!” artist like Reese in her basketball career.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Chicago Sky star greeted her friend on her birthday. She wrote a simple yet heartfelt message for the Memphis-based rapper. The two formed a friendship over the past year due to their connections to other artists.

“happy birthday to the BIGGEST💋” Reese tweeted.

GloRilla served as the opening act for Megan Thee Stallion on her Hot Girl Summer Tour. During the concert in Chicago back in May, GloRilla and Megan brought Angel Reese and her Chicago Sky teammates to the stage. Reese went viral since she twerked on the stage.

“We just had a good time. Megan and Glo were amazing to us. We didn’t know we were going to the stage, so that was a surprise. Luckily, we had cute outfits. It was really cool,” Reese told WGN News after their cameo appearance.

The rookie sensation added that her agents know the representatives for Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla. She has formed a friendship with both artists, so it’s a cool thing for the 22-year-old star to enjoy the moment.

“The people I work with, they know the managers of Megan and GloRilla. Megan is my twin and I love Megan,” Reese said.

Angel Reese might have not been named as part of Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics, but she’s enjoying the city regardless of the snub. Reese is spending the one-month break from the WNBA season with her friends, flying to Europe and taking a vacation.

The Chicago Sky rookie was seen with her friend Jasmine Reed, a former Oregon track and field star, courtside in London during the basketball showcase. They were joined by Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, making their appearance viral on social media, especially Reed, who has been making headlines since the All-Star Weekend.

Reese should be getting back to work early next month to get back into playing shape since the WNBA season is set to resume on August 15. The Sky will be back in action that day against the Phoenix Mercury.

Reese and Reed also went to Paris to not just support the American Olympians looking for glory, but to make memories as well. They were at Disneyland Paris late last week before Reese posed in front of the Eiffel Tower with her beret and pink outfit over the weekend.
