Chicago Sky rookie sent a message to the singer “SZA,” pleading with the artist to come to a WNBA game and watch her play. The singer reposted an edit made by the WNBA on Instagram following Reese’s 12th straight double-double, which she recorded in an 88-84 victory over the Seattle Storm on Friday.

Reese finished the game with a career-high 27 points to go along with 10 rebounds and two assists. She’s now averaging 13.9 points and 11.7 rebounds through her rookie season with the Sky.

“Go crazy! I gotta go see her play,” said SZA on X.

Reese then responded, sending an emotional message to SZA on X.

“SZA sisterrrr come to a gameeee I love youuuuuu,” said Reese.

Reese has spoken about her influence in the WNBA, mentioning that the league is rising because of many different players, including herself.

The 2024 WNBA draft class has truly helped bring unprecedented numbers in terms of viewership and ticket sales to the league. Reese and the Sky have already drawn multiple big names on the sideline to come to watch them play.

Chicago may be able to add SZA to a list with Dawn Staley, Latto, Dwyane Wade, Jason Sudeikis, Chance the Rapper and more.
