Angel Reese Reveals New Career Plan In Addition To WNBA
After a historic WNBA rookie season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese was seen at the CFDA Fashion Award. While the WNBA star was walking the carpet at the award ceremony, Reese met with Jenn Lyons, an American fashion designer and businesswoman.
Reese joined Lyons on the red carpet for a short interview.
While Lyons was interviewing the 22-year-old WNBA star, she asked Reese if she would ever be interested in entering the fashion industry and potentially starting her own clothing line.
Reese was quick to respond, mentioning that she would certainly be interested in that business venture.
“I do,” Reese said. “I want to do a tall girl line. It’s hard for me right now, obviously finding looks and just finding things that fit me, suit me.”

During the 2024 WNBA season, Reese was asked about her love for fashion and explained that WNBA players, like herself, take pride in their style on and off the court.
“We can dress,” Reese said in a TikTok via Julia Poe. “We got fashion on and off the court. We love to look good… I’ve always embodied that.”

While Reese has explained that fashion is a major part of her life and that she’d like to pursue a career in the industry, that doesn’t diminish the 6-foot-3 star’s dominance in the WNBA.
At 22 years old, Reese wreaked havoc for the Sky in her rookie season. She averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, leading the league in average rebounds while being the only rookie to average a double-double.
She finished her first season in the league at No. 2 in Rookie of the Year voting, behind Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and was named to the WNBA All-Star roster.
