Pamela Rose Martinez, popularly known as Bayley, has been one of the most prominent female superstars in WWE in recent years. Her in-ring abilities and exceptional personality make her stand out on the women’s roster.

The 34-year-old Superstar, who formerly held the RAW Women’s Championship and Women’s Tag Team Championship, became SmackDown Women’s Champion in 2019 and held the title for the longest time in history. Her reign lasted 380 days before losing it to Sasha Banks in a Hell in a Cell Match.

Bayley has been making headlines for various reasons lately. Recently, the new tattoo on her wrist made waves on social media, with people discussing what it could mean. A user on ‘X’ posted a picture of Bayley where her new wrist tattoo was visible.

In the post caption, he wrote, “Can anyone who can read Arabic tell me what Bayley’s tat says?” This was enough to catch the attention of the fans towards the female Superstar, and everyone started speculating about what it could mean and its English translation.

However, Bayley told about the translation of the Arabic tattoo on her wrist in an Instagram post dated November 5, 2022, when she was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She posted the picture of her wrist tattoo and captioned it “MAKTUB,” which translates to “It is Written,” meaning destiny.

Fans’ reaction to Bayley’s new Arabic tattoo

As soon as the picture went viral on X, fans started commenting on Bayley’s tattoo. Some of them tried to translate it with Google and posted the screenshots in the comment section. One of the X users wrote, “It literally means written. So whatever is the context or the reason why she chose it, it means more like destined for something etc..”  stressing the fact that she believed in destiny.

Another fan on X wrote, “Written. In Arabic maktoob which basically means God’s will” he said that the literal translation of the tattoo was the word written, which meant god’s will in Arabic. A fan wrote, “As many of the guys said, the tattoo says “written”. The actual meaning is “destined” which may indicate her religious beliefs.”

He may have tried to clear the conundrums around the Arabic translation and meaning and also predicted her religious beliefs. One of the fans hilariously wrote, It says “property of Damage Ctrl”. Fans had both insightful and humorous reactions to Bayley’s tattoo.

Bayley made her debut on RAW in July 2016, and since then she has been consistently performing on both major WWE promotions. Recently, she re-signed a multi-year deal with the Triple H-led promotion. The leader of Damage CTRL is leading the top faction in SmackDown and remains a part of the main storylines.
