Brad Pitt Stopped Showering & Shaving to Build $300 Million Empire: “Lived on Ramen noodles and generic beer”

Brad Pitt is probably the first person one thinks of when thinking of A-List actors. He has achieved the peak of Hollywood success and has starred in massive projects that have been nominated for Oscars and even won two, Best Picture for 12 Years A Slave and Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood. His acting capabilities can only be defined as legendary and his success proves it.

While Pitt has done exceptionally well in his professional life, he’s quite a lot of difficulties in his personal life, from his failed high-profile relationships with Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston to very public feuds with actors just as famous as him. Aside from this, Pitt seems to have had quite an interesting start in his career as an actor and his early years in L.A.

Brad Pitt’s Early Life with Jason Priestley

Brad Pitt‘s first few years after moving to Los Angeles were not as glamorous as one might think. Private Eyes star Jason Priestley, who used to be roommates with Pitt, revealed some quite interesting details in his book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir. Apparently, the two would live off of instant noodles, cans of beer, and cigarettes due to their lack of funds.

“We lived on Ramen noodles and generic beer — the kind that came in white cans labeled ‘beer’ — and Marlboro Light cigarettes. We were all broke. … Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering and shaving.” Revealed Jason Priestley in his book.
They would also apparently have competitions for entertainment to see which one of them would be able to go the longest without shaving or showering. Definitely not the Hollywood life one would imagine Brad Pitt to lead.

Strippers Changed Brad Pitt’s Life

During an interview with Newsweek, Brad Pitt revealed that he drove adult entertainers around as a job for a few months. He would drive them to jobs and collect his money by the end of the night. This job helped sustain him so that he could keep auditioning. However, this quickly became quite depressing for him so he decided to quit.
