BRITNEY Spears’ brother Bryan “owes thousands in child support” to his ex wife as the pop star accuses her family of mishandling her money, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

Bryan Spears’ former spouse, Garciella Sanchez, filed court documents to obtain the payments she was allegedly owed just one month after Hulu’s documentary on the #FreeBritney movement aired.

In March 2021, Garciella submitted a petition obtained by The Sun to collect “current, medical and unpaid child support” from her ex.

According to the court papers, a judge ordered Bryan, 44, to pay just $300 a month for base child support which commenced back on August 1, 2016.

The judge ruled this amount based off the Louisiana native’s reported $6,375 monthly income.

After adding up all of the monthly payments over the past five years, the child support owed for their 10-year-old daughter, Sophia, would total over $20,000.

However, the legal papers filed earlier this year claimed Garciella has still not received the full amount she is ordered to.

Although it’s possible Bryan fulfilled the amount in the months since, none of the legal papers filed for the case have indicated the child support payments were made.

Bryan is also responsible for paying for all of their daughter’s medical, dental and hospital insurance.

The docs show that Garciella has physical custody of their daughter, Sophia, but they share joint legal custody.

Talent manager Garciella married Bryan in 2008 – the same year Britney was placed in a conservatorship by their dad, Jamie Spears.

They split in 2015 and her initial divorce petition was denied however, it was approved by Los Angeles court in February 2017.

A rep for Bryan did not return The Sun’s request for comment.

In recent weeks, Britney, 39, and her attorney Mathew Rosengart slammed her father’s mishandling of her money while calling her current net worth “shockingly low” compared to her massive earnings over the years.

‘SHOCKINGLY LOW’ NET WORTH

“Ms. Spears’s net worth is shockingly low and that, although no one knows what she would have done had she been in control of her fate and fortune, it’s hard to imagine how she would have done worse than her estranged dad,” the court papers read.

According to the legal docs, Britney’s net worth is around $57 million – significantly lower than her musical peers who have sold even less albums or been on fewer tours than she has.

The documents also slam Jamie’s 1998 bankruptcy and point out his past issues handling money.

A source close to the case revealed to The Sun that the “intention of hiring a third party CPA Jason Rubin for Britney” is not just to handle her money but to “investigate her finances as well.”

“She has made millions that her attorney believes are unaccounted for and Britney doesn’t know where it went,” the insider claimed.

The informant explained: “The opposing counsels’ team hasn’t answered many questions about it either.

“If her money was stolen or used in an unlawful manner, Jason will look into the person or persons responsible and where the money went.”

JAMIE STEPPING DOWN

The legal expert then added that even in a conservatorship, “the conservator cannot use the conservatee’s bank account like an ATM.”

Earlier today, Britney scored a HUGE court win as new docs filed by Jamie’s lawyer stated he will be stepping down as his daughter’s conservator.

In June of last year, Bryan – who rarely ever speaks out publicly – revealed his younger sister “always wanted” to get out of the conservatorship.

The film producer told the As Not Seen on TV podcast: “[Britney’s] always wanted to get out of [the conservatorship]. It’s very frustrating to have.

“Whether someone’s coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating,” he added.
