Caitlin Clark already back in practice with Indiana Fever after being controversially left off USA women’s basketball team-nhung

Caitlin Clark is already back in practice with the Indiana Fever after her controversial snub from the USA women’s basketball team in the Olympics.

Earlier in the summer, fans cried foul after the rookie sensation was left out of the Olympic roster that got sent to Paris. Her snub came as Clark continued to bring more eyes to the WNBA, shattering attendance and viewership records.

However, Clark remains focused on finishing her first WNBA season strong and is back in the lab despite their next game not coming until August 16 – after the Olympics.

On Tuesday, Clark was pictured at the Fever training facility gearing up for the rest of the season.

The former Iowa star was sporting her Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE’s during the session. She also appeared to be jovial while talking about her new footwear.

‘It’s pretty cool, I feel like it’s Fever but it’s also Iowa,’ Clark said of the shoe. ‘You get the best of both worlds. I have another one that you’ll probably see me wear later on – that is even more Fever, so just wait for that one.’

‘But yeah, you got the yellow [and] they look a little similar to the Bruce Lee’s that I wear but still different,’ she added. ‘I like the gold swoosh. It’s the black and yellow, you can’t go wrong.’

In a head-to-head race with Angel Reese for rookie of the year, Clark currently leads the Fever in points, assists, and steals. The rookie averages 17.1 points, 5.8 boards, 8.2 dishes, and 1.5 steals per game.
