Caitlin Clark may have become the greatest women’s college basketball player of all time, but she couldn’t cement her legacy with a championship.

When the national finals came, Iowa and Clark lost to South Carolina 87-75. This is the biggest regret of her college career.

Clark made a lasting impact on the game, scoring 30 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. She was particularly impressive in the first half, scoring 18 points, but South Carolina proved to be too strong in their championship pursuit – a dominance they displayed throughout the season.

After the game concluded, a poignant photo of Clark leaving the court surfaced. It was her final collegiate basketball game, and the image struck a chord with fans, undoubtedly leaving an indelible mark with her contributions.
