Caitlin Clark smashes ANOTHER incredible WNBA record after winning All-Star vote by miles
Caitlin Clark is already smashing WNBA records less than 20 games into her professional career.
The Indiana Fever guard was announced as a member of the league’s All-Star squad, who will take on the Olympic team she missed out on last month.
Unsurprisingly, Clark garnered the most votes by a mile, netting 700,735 votes.
In contrast, the top vote-getter in 2023 was A’ja Wilson, who received 95,860 votes.
Clark will have to put her burgeoning rivalry with fellow rookie Angel Reese to the side, as the Chicago Sky player also made the All-Star roster.

The pair of superstar rookies were selected to play in the 20th All-Star Game, amid a highly-publicized rivalry that has propelled the sport to new heights over the past couple of months.
They faced off in the college national championship last season and their rivalry came to a head in the pros when Clark was struck in the face by Reese during Chicago’s win over Indiana a few weeks ago.
They will need to put their differences aside for one game only though, as they team up to face off against the Paris Olympics team – just weeks after finding out they had both been snubbed from the roster heading to Europe this summer.
Clark’s Indiana teammate Aliyah Boston netted the second-highest amount of votes, while Reese was fifth with 381,518 votes.
The pair of 22-year-olds have been a boon for the WNBA in ratings, merchandise sales and attendance. They are also playing well on the court with Clark third in assists with 6.9 and Reese leading the WNBA in rebounds at 11.4.

The LSU alum has also been smashing records, most recently becoming the first player in the history of the league to put up 10 consecutive double-doubles in a single season.
She finished with 10 points and 16 rebounds during her team’s 70-62 loss to the Minnesota Lynx Sunday evening, surpassing future Hall of Famer Candace Parker’s record nine double-doubles in 2015.
It initially looked like Reese would fall short of double points, however, on the Sky’s final offensive possession, she was fouled and went to the line.
Although she missed the first free throw, the second shot brought her total up to 10 points, and the crowd went wild as her mother looked on emotionally.
‘She knows what she does best,’ Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon told reporters earlier in the week.
‘The one thing about her is that she is incredibly hard on herself. As far as rebounding the ball, we knew that would translate over [from college].’
