Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, dropped a single-emoji reaction to her all-black chich outfit ahead of the Indiana Fever’s home matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday. McCaffery reposted the Fever’s Instagram post featuring Clark’s tunnel walk and coupled it with a sigh emoji on his story.

The post featured the star rookie rocking a black cropped strapless top and black cargo pants, along with Nike Air Force 1 kicks.

Friday’s game concluded with the Fever clinching a 95-86 home victory against the short-handed Mercury. Caitlin Clark dropped another historic performance as she tied the Fever’s franchise record for most assists in a game and became the first rookie in WNBA history to post multiple games of 20+ points and 10+ assists.

Moreover, she registered her fifth straight double-double with 20 points, 13 assists, six rebounds, one steal and two blocks in the win.

With the win, the Fever climbed to the seventh spot in the WNBA standings with a 10-14 record and have won six of their last 10 games. They will hit the road next to face the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.

While Caitlin Clark is delivering up to the incredible hype that preceded the start of her WNBA career, she is also a great success off the court. Among the other previous signings with various brands, the Indiana Fever rookie took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the launch of her Hy-Vee exclusive trading cards with Panini America.

“Wanna trade? ❤️‍🔥 Hy-Vee exclusive trading cards coming soon,” Clark captioned.

Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, commented on the post, asking to get a few of those cards for himself. However, Clark had a short and hilarious response to decline his request.

“Can I get a couple?” McCaffery wrote.

“Nah,” Clark replied.

The interaction quickly racked up many likes from fans, with many also replying to Connor’s comment to affirm the couple’s cuteness.

Connor McCaffery is also a Hawkeye and graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2023. He is currently a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. He also used to play basketball at Iowa and is supportive of Caitlin Clark, as implied by his social media posts whenever his star girlfriend achieves various milestones.

Clark made her relationship with McCaffery public in August 2023 when she posted a photo with McCaffery on her Instagram. The couple celebrated their first anniversary in April.
