Taylor Swift surprised the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive linemen last season by baking handmade Pop-Tarts, according to head coach Andy Reid. Swift has emerged as the most visible member of Chiefs Kingdom since her initial visit to Arrowhead in September to see boyfriend Travis Kelce play football.

The pop megastar returned several times over the season as her and Kelce’s friendship became stronger, and she even attended a couple Chiefs games on the road. To top it all off, she was at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas earlier this month to witness her new guy win his third Super Bowl championship.

However, it appears Swift is not only showing her support for Kelce in the Kansas City locker room.

According to Reid, the singer and songwriter impressed some of Travis’ teammates last season by baking them Pop-Tarts.

‘I believe it’s a terrific escape for her,’ he told Pro Football Talk of Swift attending Chiefs games. ‘She really enjoys the games. ‘Behind the scenes she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts. ‘So it was over. She knew right where to go’. But did Reid manage to get his hands on any? ‘No, she didn’t give me one,’ he admitted. ‘And the offensive lineman definitely didn’t!’

Swift was a magnet for stories during the NFL season, frequently finding herself in the spotlight while rooting for Kelce in the stands.

However, Reid claims her presence was not a distraction for his squad, and that the 14-time Grammy Award winner thoroughly embraced the team spirit despite her dizzying levels of renown, which he compared to those of late British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

‘I honestly didn’t worry about it,’ he said of the extra attention Swift brought to the team this season. ‘I knew her father and mother; they were wonderful, sturdy folks. I met her when she was younger. She is surprisingly grounded for her personality.

‘Since the Queen has passed away, she may be the most famous woman in the world. But she handles it.’
