Here’s what the team’s owner has to say about his star tight end dating the superstar

Clark Hunt is boarding the Tayvis hype train!

The Kansas City Chiefs Owner and CEO had nothing but kind things to say about his star tight end Travis Kelce dating renowned songwriter Taylor Swift and the impact their viral relationship has on the National Football League.

Hunt, who also played a part in the establishment of Major League Soccer, opened up to CNBC’s Mad Money host Jim Cramer in a new interview, where he wasn’t shy about expressing how “happy” he and the team are for the couple.

“I’ve had a chance to meet her at one of the many games that she’s attended this year, and she’s just as sweet as she can be,” he revealed, adding that he also had the opportunity to see her play Arrowhead Stadium twice during her record-breaking Eras Tour. “What an incredible performer! I mean, just one of the most amazing artists of our time,” he applauded the “Karma” songstress.

He’s also pleased with “the attention that’s been focused on the Chiefs,” noting that the team’s “female audience has grown leaps and bounds” thanks to what Cramer called the “unplanned phenomenon.”

Hunt agreed that the craze that has ensued since “they were just starting off dating” was “purely organic,” denying any and all claims that the two were being seen together purely for publicity purposes.

“Oh, it’s a marketing stunt,” Hunt recalled folks saying at the time. “But no,” he countered, adding, “It’s very real. And as I said, the most important thing is we’re happy for the two of them.”

Same, Hunt. Same.
