Christopher Nolan’s Rumored Two Picture James Bond Deal Gets Interesting Update That Will Intrigue Henry Cavill: Reports Hint Major Change

Following the critical and commercial success of Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan is rumored to be all set to kickstart the new James Bond era. James Bond is one of the most major franchises out there and has been subjected to discussion for quite some time after Daniel Craig bid adieu to the role in No Time to Die. Now as per the new rumors, Nolan will work towards getting us a 007 that will be true to Ian Fleming’s source materials.

Christopher Nolan is one of the greatest directors we have in Hollywood and nobody can raise questions on his vision. The director has been known for his innovations in filmmaking and has delivered some of the greatest hits like Interstellar, Inception, and The Dark Knight. It can’t be denied that with full creative freedom, a Nolan-led James Bond movie can be the next big thing in pop culture.

The rumors were first reported by World Of Reel‘s Jordan Ruimy who stated that Christopher Nolan is in talks to write and direct at least two James Bond movies. Following that, the filmmaking genius will reportedly take on the role of Executive Producer. Known for his grounded approach and magnificent vision in storytelling, the Interstellar director can be one of the best choices for the upcoming Bond movies.

It is said that the upcoming projects will be closer to Ian Flemings’s novels and will be set in the same period settings they were written in. This report is also responsible for reminding us of one of the top contenders for the role who could drive the audience mad if he was cast- Henry Cavill.

Our beloved ex-Superman always tries his best to keep his projects true to the source materials. This is something that reportedly played an integral role in his departure from The Witcher series as he was not happy with how the makers didn’t respect the source materials. It can’t be denied that if Christopher Nolan joined hands with Henry Cavill any day for a James Bond project, it would be more than a dream come true for the fans of 007.

With complete creative freedom, Nolan can be responsible for giving us a James Bond movie like never before. However, we are yet to get more updates from the official desk of EON and Amazon. Along with that, we are also yet to get our next official James Bond.

Who will be the next James Bond?

Aaron Taylor-JohnsonAaron Taylor-Johnson might be the new James Bond
Jordan Ruimy also reported that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is currently the front-runner to play the tuxedo-clad spy. He has previously collaborated with Christopher Nolan in his Tenet and has also flaunted his skills in movies like Bullet Train. The latter movie starring the Quicksilver actor alongside Brad Pitt showed that the actor can pull off a stylish action-hero avatar as well.

Besides, the Kraven the Hunter lead, there are also a considerable number of stars who are thought of playing the role that once turned Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, and others into household names. Soon after Taylor-Johnson, another favorite for the role is James Norton.

Other actors like the Bridgerton fame Regé-Jean Page and Tom Hardy are also popular choices for the role. Idris Elba was also a major fan cast but the makers also confirmed that the new actor needed to be thirty-something so that they could pull off the role for another set of movies. Sadly, this also rules out the chances of Henry Cavill’s James Bond.
