CMT has finally come back to its senses. While in Nashville, journalisticator Craven Moorehead sat down with CMT President Sandy Jerdusky and asked if CMT would play the new Beyonce videos.
“There is no amount of Jay Z’s payola that will make that happen,” he said, “We lost our audience once; we won’t do that again.”
Jerdusky turned up the music in his office and ended the interview. Ironically, he was listening to Beyonce’s version of Jolene. “Her voice soothes me. Don’t judge.”
They’re probably trying to redeem themselves after the huge mistake they made with the Jason Aldean “Try That in a Small Town” video. Whatever the reason, it was a good decision.
