In an interview with People, former soccer star David Beckham offered advice on the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The football legend, David Beckham, is well aware of how the relationship between athlete Travis Kelce and pop music star Taylor Swift might unfold, and he wishes the best for both.

At the premiere of his four-part Netflix documentary series “Beckham”, David Beckham (48) stated, “There’s a lot of buzz surrounding Taylor Swift right now,” alluding to the media frenzy surrounding the rumored relationship between the 33-year-old singer and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce (33).

Beckham continued, “Taylor is a fantastic talent, and she deserves to be happy. Whatever Taylor does and whoever she’s with, as long as she’s happy, that’s the most important thing.”

When asked if he had any advice for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, David Beckham offered insights into his own marriage with fashion designer and former Spice Girl member, Victoria Beckham.

The former soccer star emphasized that the key to a long-lasting relationship is having alone time. “It’s the same for me and Victoria. We’ve been together for 26 years, almost three decades. We have wonderful children, we’ve built businesses, but we still make time for each other,” Beckham revealed. He further stated that he and his wife “respect each other” and both understand that “you have to stick to this.”

David Beckham and Victoria got engaged a year after they met at a football match in 1997 and married on July 4, 1999. They share a daughter, Harper (12 years old), and three sons, Cruz (18 years old), Romeo (21 years old), and Brooklyn (24 years old).

David Beckham and his wife have been living together for 26 years.

In recent times, the owner of the song “Bejeweled” and the American football star have become a topic of discussion among celebrities since Taylor Swift has been spotted attending Kansas City Chiefs’ matches to cheer for Kelce. Kelce himself has flown to Sydney and Singapore to support his girlfriend.

The couple is “still getting to know each other,” a source told People, and another insider added that the couple has yet to determine whether their relationship will lead to marriage or not.
