The Denver Broncos leaned into the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift love story by using their shock victory over the Kansas City Chiefs to troll the tight end – blaring his girlfriend’s music through the speakers at the end of the game.
Kelce’s whirlwind romance with the pop superstar has dominated headlines over the past month, and there were suggestions she would be in Denver to watch him in a fifth NFL game in six weeks on Sunday.
In the end, she didn’t show up, and the Chiefs went on to lose – leading to Denver making the most of their opportunity to troll their opponent and one of its key men.
As soon as the game finished at Mile High on Sunday afternoon, the stadium speakers began to blare out Taylor Swift’s biggest hit ‘Shake It Off’, much to the delight of the fans inside the stadium.
On social media, viewers also enjoyed the hilarious moment, with one commenting: ‘Top tier trolling’, while another added: ‘This is the best thing I’ve seen all day.’

The Broncos’ win over the Chiefs breaks a long streak that was hanging over Denver’s head, with Kansas City having beaten them in their last 16 match-ups.
In the end, it wasn’t even close, with Russell Wilson throwing for 114 yards and three touchdowns on the way to his team’s 24-9 victory.
Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, threw two interceptions and Travis Kelce had just 58 receiving yards from six catches – and no touchdowns.
There were reports earlier in the week that Mahomes and Kelce had planned a touchdown celebration to rival their partners’ in the stands, after Taylor and Brittany Mahomes were seen with a personalized handshake at the last game against the Chargers.
That didn’t see the light of day, though, with Kelce instead looking glum on the sidelines after struggling to make an impact in freezing Denver.

On Saturday night, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed pictures of a glum-looking Kelce at the team hotel as he prepared for the game without his girlfriend in attendance.
Taylor is soon to be heading on the South American leg of her worldwide Eras Tour, and it has been reported that she is keen to get her head down and continue preparations for the Argentina shows next week.
It has been three months since the pop superstar finished the US leg of the tour, and in the weeks since she has begun her relationship with the NFL hero.
The pair have been spotted together numerous times in both Kansas City and New York, staying at each other’s apartments during the whirlwind romance.
According to Yahoo Entertainment, their relationship began when Swift ‘cautiously reached out’ to the Kansas City Chiefs player after he told his brother Jason about failing to get his number to the pop star – which he put on a friendship bracelet he made for her – and she found the tale ‘adorable’.

‘I’ve only seen Arrowhead filled like that for Chiefs games with that much excitement, and everybody was dressed in pink and purple going crazy for her. It was wild. It was a wild show.’
The publication says Swift reached out after hearing the tale and it led to their first date in New York – where they have been seen on numerous occasions since.
