They currently have at least eight houses spread out around the nation. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, a strong couple in the entertainment industry, have continued to add to their collection by spending $11.3 mιllιon on a large property in Hidden Hills, a guard-gated neighborhood well-known for being the home to Drake and Kaley Cuoco as well as Kylie Jenner and Jeffree Star.

The two-story mansion, which was constructed brand-new on speculative land last year, has more than 10,000 square feet of interior space and is referred to in the ad as a “Napa Modern” residence. The Smiths acquired the keys to the mansion for a reduction of about $1 mιllιon from the initial $12.2 mιllιon asking price. The estate, which was finished in early 2020 and was constructed on speculative grounds, has been listed for sale since June of last year.

The 1.2-acre property is privately located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac behind a long driveway, and it sits atop a ridge with views of a sizable portion of the San Fernando Valley.

A double-height foyer with sightlines across the entire home, an open kitchen with two islands and a large pantry, a soundproof movie theater with velvet walls, and a game room with a wet bar are just a few of the contemporary features found inside the all-neutral interiors. There is a formal dining room with a glass-enclosed, refrigerated wine closet, a gym with its own steam shower, and more.

The principal suite upstairs also includes a fireplace, sitting area, two dressing rooms, a built-in refrigerator, and a coffee bar. Each of the home’s six bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom. Stone loggias outside, which open to a full outdoor kitchen with BBQ and an infinity-edged pool with an integrated spa, are ideal for outdoor entertaining.

Also in the backyard are a full-size sports court, a campfire seating area, and what the listing calls a “serenity lounge.” Surprisingly, the property just has a few trees enclosing the mansion; there is no large grassy garden or even much landscaping. However, that should allow the Smiths to save money on maintenance charges.

The luxurious rooms of the home will likely be transformed into something more cutting-edge by an interior designer who will be hired by the next owners. In Architectural Digest, the couple’s $42 mιllιon constructed mega-estate outside of Calabasas, which has been their primary property for many years, was highlighted for its distinctively Moroccan-inspired interiors, rich hues, and unusual furniture.
