Dominik Mysterio was in intense pain after being attacked by a female WWE Superstar at WWE live event on December 29, 2023.

At the WWE live event in Toronto, Dominik Mysterio accompanied Rhea Ripley for her Triple Threat Match against Ivy Nile and Shayna Baszler. The match was contested for Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship.

At one point, Shayna Baszler caught Dominik Mysterio and locked a chokehold on him. Rhea Ripley eventually managed to retain her Women’s World Title and celebrated with Dominik Mysterio immediately after. Dominik Mysterio could be seen holding his neck and was clearly in agonizing pain.

Dominik Mysterio’s WWE Holiday Tour is not going as he had planned. Dominik Mysterio lost to CM Punk in CM Punk’s first WWE match in nine years at WWE MSG live event on December 26, 2023. A day later, Dominik Mysterio lost a Last Man Standing Match to Cody Rhodes.

Things only got worse as Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor lost a Tag Team Match to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WWE live event on December 28, 2023. To add insult to injury, Shayna Baszler embarrassed Dominik Mysterio in front of thousands of fans on December 29, 2023. Dominik Mysterio would love to put an end to his bad patch and pick up a win as soon as possible.
