Parents have praised actor Dwayne The Rock Johnson after he shared a picture of himself spoon feeding his partner Lauren Hashian as she nursed their two-month-old daughter Tiana.

The heartwarming snap was soon posted to Facebook parenting page ‘The Badda** Breastfeeder’, where the Fast And Furious star was inundated with comments from mothers and fathers.

Many commended the former professional wrestler, who is also father to daughter Simone, 16, with his ex-wife Dany Garcia two-year-old Jasmine with fiance Lauren, for his ‘team work’, before sharing their own experiences.

Taking to Facebook, the parenting forum wrote, ‘And this is how it’s done. Thank you Dwayne The Rock Johnson’, before sharing his post.

The 46-year-old father-of-three had shared a snap showing him spoon-feeding Lauren while on his knees, as she breastfed their two-month-old daughter Tia.

He captioned the snap: ‘I’ll handle this business! Mama has her hands full nursing/feeding Baby Tia, so I’m feedin’ mama her dinner. My pleasure.

‘So much respect to her and all mamas out there holding it down and running things. Just landed and good to get all my girls settled in.

‘Now, I gotta go satisfy my own appetite.. Iron Paradise, here I come.’

The actor announced the newborn’s arrival by sharing a sweet picture of himself cradling the infant to his bare chest.

‘I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia’s delivery, it’s hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for and all mamas and women out there.’

He also shared his advice for other expectant fathers, writing: ‘Word to the wise gentlemen, it’s critical to be by your lady’s head when she’s delivering, being as supportive as you can.. holding hands, holding legs, whatever you can do.

‘But, if you really want to understand the single most powerful and primal moment life will ever offer – watch your child being born. Its a life changer and the respect and admiration you have for a woman, will forever be boundless.’

‘Your crazy dad has many responsibilities and wears many hats in this big ol’ world, but being your dad will always be the one I’m most proud to wear.

‘Oh and one more thing.. you’re gonna love rollin’ in daddy’s pick up truck.’
