He sought inspiration from other content creators, notably Lele Pons, who was stunned to hear the actor describe her as “magic” for her ingenuity and creativity.

The Venezuelan influencer was invited to the premiere of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The actor took the opportunity to express his admiration for her creative ability to produce entertaining social media videos in just a few seconds. The Oscar winner praised Pons as “magic” for her unique content creation.

“You were one of the first people I studied when I decided to start on social media. I kept thinking, ‘She is magic. How do you achieve a beginning, middle, and end in 16 seconds?’ I find it spectacular,” Will Smith told Lele Pons, who was completely taken aback by the actor’s praise.

“After 11 years of making videos thanks to Vine, I never thought I’d teach or inspire someone like Will Smith to create content on social media. I’m still in shock from his words. I’m so grateful to be recognized by a legend like Will! Never give up and keep doing what you love, because you never know who might be watching,” the influencer wrote alongside the video of the moment with the film star.

Who is Lele Pons?

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Lele Pons began creating content in 2014 on the Vine platform with short comedy videos. Her creativity, wit, and charm led to her success, garnering over a billion views on some of her clips. When Vine shut down in 2016, she transitioned to YouTube, where she now boasts over 18 million subscribers.

In addition to her influencer career, Lele Pons has ventured into music. In 2018, she released her song “Dicen” in collaboration with Matt Hunter. However, it was her track “Se te nota,” featuring her now-husband, singer and songwriter Guaynaa, that further boosted her fame in the industry. In 2022, Guaynaa proposed to Pons on stage at the Tomorrowland festival, and in April 2023, they celebrated their union with a luxurious wedding.
