The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl on Sunday, cementing themselves as the NFL’s next dynasty with their third Super Bowl victory in the last five seasons. The Chiefs won it all in the end, but they didn’t always look like the best team in the NFL this season.

Mishaps, poor performances and other issues made it appear that other teams around the league had passed them by. Despite the adversity the Chiefs faced this season, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes never lost faith in the team or in himself.

His wife Brittany shared a text he sent her over a month before capturing his third title, showing exactly where his mindset was heading into the playoffs.

“I decided we are going to win the Super Bowl,” Mahomes said in the text on January 5 – two days before the Chiefs ended the regular season with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

“I’ll see y’all in Vegas I’m not done,” he added on January 28, the day the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to win the AFC title. Of course, Mahomes’ prediction came true over the weekend, and fans were loving his confidence ahead of the team’s playoff run.

“i’m starting to believe that the entire chiefs team is just a bunch of big men with high manifestation skills,” one fan said. “Pat smelled blood in the water and knew to run the table,” another fan said.

“bro did the same last year with booking an airbnb…months before he even knew he was playing the Eagles,” one fan mentioned.

Mahomes revealed in the Neftlix “Quarterback” series that he rented an Airbnb for his family in Arizona well before he knew Kansas City would be in last year’s Super Bowl. If Mahomes has any plans for early 2025 in New Orleans, the rest of the NFL should be on notice.
