Draymond Green has done it again.
The Golden State Warriors menace has already been suspended once this season for on-court infractions. And while a second suspension is undoubtedly coming following his latest outburst, NBA fans on social media are calling for more — like a season-long suspension, or even a permanent ban from the league.
Green was ejected from a game for the third time this season last night after punching Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face after the two got tangled up. The punch was a clean one that sent Nurkic to the ground like a sack of potatoes, making it an easy call for the officials.
Green will no-doubt be hearing from the officials about this one, and a lengthy suspension is likely incoming for the four-time NBA all-star. But social media is making it pretty clear how they would like to see this handled.
Many believe Green should be suspended for the remainder of the season, while some are even calling for a permanent ban from the NBA.
We’ll see if Adam Silver and the people in the NBA’s front offices agree with the public.
