FORMER Vanderbilt quarterback Mo Hasan disclosed some shocking allegations during his time in the SEC conference and believes mobsters control the games.

Hasan revealed during an interview that he was once approached by members of the Italian mob to fix games for $300,000 and expressed that “almost every game in the SEC is rigged.”

He played at the University of Vanderbilt from 2018 to 2019, and the backup QB noted on his podcast in February that he was offered a lump sum of money while at a bar.

“I was approached at Jason Aldean’s bar in Nashville by the Italian mob to fix football games,” Hasan said on his podcast.

“He offered me $300,000. I went to get drinks and so I’m alone right now. I’m not with my friend group.”

“He comes up to me. He offered me $300,000.”

“He said, ‘For something like this, my clients pay $250 to $300K for a game.’

Hasan would go on to imply that players for the University of Alabama, whom he said play in “the NFL right now,” had similar arrangements with the Italian mob.

“He said, ‘We regularly talk to guys at your position about fixing games,'” Hasan said.

“He named guys in the SEC, who I don’t wanna say their names because they’re in the NFL right now, and that’s a bad look.”

“But the University of Alabama. I will tell you that. He said almost every game in the SEC is rigged.”

Hasan’s comments went viral, prompting former SEC star for Alabama and current ESPN analyst, Greg McElroy, to call out Hasen.

He questioned how Hasen could fix the game when he had a limited role at Vanderbilt and challenged the story’s claims.

“It’s hard to rig games from the bench, so I’ve been told,” McElroy expressed on Friday on his “McElroy & Cubelic In The Morning” podcast.

Hasan played two seasons at the school, attempting just 17 passes with the Commodores for a total of 158 passing yards.

When Hasan was a team member, the Commodores finished 6-7 in 2018 and 3-9 in 2019, but he fired back at McElroy on Friday in a since-deleted tweet.

“For those of you in my mentions saying the mob doesn’t need to pay off Vandy because we’ve lost a lot − you must not be familiar with prop bets, lol,” Hasan said.

Hasan would transfer to USC as a graduate student, but two season-ending injuries prevented him from ever appearing in a game for the school.
