The Kansas City Chiefs selected receiver Skyy Moore in the second round of the 2022 Draft, hoping he would develop into one of Patrick Mahomes most dangerous weapons.

However, things have not worked out in their and his favor. Although he is a two-time Super Bowl champion, Skyy Moore has hardly ever become a threat on the field.

Now, Moore may be facing the real possibility of being released by then due to his poor showing so far in training camp.

One play during camp showed a pass coming his way, and he failed to haul it in as he continues to fight for a roster spot.

The Kansas City Chiefs started their training camp, showcasing new faces impacting the team and signaling the end for some older players.

Skyy Moore is only 23-years-old, but the promise the team once had for him seems to be over.

Not helping matters was Patrick Mahomes’ connection with rookie Xavier Worthy for a 60-yard reception during practice, as Moore sees his roster spot continue to dwindle.

Moore is now following his poor showing during OTAs with an even worse showing so far through training camp.

Skyy Moore, drafted in 2022, only accumulated 494 yards on 43 receptions in his first two years. He has one touchdown, per ESPN.com.

Skyy Moore desperately needed a good 2023 to show he has something that the Chiefs would love to keep around.

Unfortunately for him, Moore was placed on the injured reserve list in December, and his season was over.

He was activated just before the Super Bowl, but still did not play.
