Taylor Swift knows when to let someone else take the spotlight, despite her frequent appearances in the news.
After boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 in the AFC championship game on Jan. 28 to advance to the Super Bowl, the “Cruel Summer” singer joined him on the field, but took a step back at one point to allow him to soak in the moment with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce
.
“You keep your shirt on this time or what?” Travis Kelce questioned his brother as they hugged in an Instagram video posted by the Chiefs, surrounded by fans. Travis Kelce was of course referring to his brother’s shirtless appearance at the Chiefs’ previous playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
Swift, who was standing a few feet behind Travis Kelce, could be seen slinking away while they talked.
Fans were impressed that Swift, who has been a frequent fixture at Chiefs games this season, let the Kelce brothers to have their space in such a magnificent moment.
“The way she takes a step back to focus on a moment between brothers. “High EQ,” someone else said.
“As a non-Swiftie, Taylor’s decision to step back and allow the moment to focus on what it should be, the NFL and Travis Kelce, is a kind, classy, and courteous thing to do. Another person complimented Swift’s work.

“Everyone will bash Taylor (not a swiftie) but she saw a moment this between brothers and stepped away,” a another person said. “I watched it several times since I missed it at first. She doesn’t chase the spotlight because it draws unwanted attention to her.”
“Do you notice how Taylor moved back so they could have a moment? “I love them,” said another devotee.
The spotlight will undoubtedly remain on Travis Kelce and Swift for the next two weeks as the Chiefs prepare for the 2024 Super Bowl. The squad will face the San Francisco 49ers on February 11 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium in their bid to win back-to-back championships and the Super Bowl for the third time in five years.
