Canadian Tyler Mislawchuk left it all out there with his performance at Wednesday’s men’s Olympic Triathlon.

Tyler Mislawchuk was seen throwing up after crossing the finish line of the Olympic triathlon.

This nasty moment was caught on live television after he was forced to swim in the Seine River, which was criticized for its cleanliness and safeness to compete amid reports of high levels of E. coli and other bacteria.

It is unknown if his vomit was the result of the contents of the water or the exhaustion of the physically demanding sport.

The event began with Tyler Mislawchuk and the rest of the men starting the triathlon by doing the swimming leg in the Seine. This event was supposed to have happened already, but it was postponed because of concerns about the water quality in the Seine.

Eventually, water tests showed it was safe for humans to compete in it.

Mislawchuk finished ninth with a time of 1:44:25. The 29-year-old later said he vomited ten times in total.

Britain’s Alex Yee won the gold medal at 1:43:33, while Hayden Wilde of New Zealand grabbed second place and the Silver medal at 1:43:39.

Léo Bergere had fans happy as the Frenchman was awarded bronze with a time of 1:43:43.

Canadian Tyler Mislawchuk Proud of His Effort Based On Past Battles

The Paris Olympics received criticism for the Seine River’s cleanliness, and Canadian Tyler Mislawchuk may have felt the effects when he threw up on live TV.

The 29-year-old triathlete may have finished ninth, and did not medal, but his finish was a huge one for him as he became emotional over injuries he’s had in the past few years.

Amid that, he vowed to return to a third Olympics, and he did it.

“I’ve come back from an Achilles tear, concussion, crashes, you name it, I had it in the last three years,” Mislawchuk said per TMZ.

“To stand on the start line healthy and give it my all… I’m proud of the effort. You want more, but that’s all I had in me.”
