Chris Hemsworth recently did a National Geographic series called Limitless. The series is all about exploring one’s body and pushing it to the limits it can handle to unlock its potential. During the shooting of this series, Hemsworth’s blood samples and various tests were done. Initially, they wanted to reveal the results on camera and talk about improving the issue. But his doctor suggested telling him offscreen and giving him a choice if he wants to reveal it to the world or not.

When the Marvel actor started this show, he didn’t know that he will be detected with Alzheimer’s Risk. At that time, he clarified about not giving up on acting. According to recent reports, it’s known that the actor is going to slow down a bit due to the high risk. The Thor actor has some movie projects yet to be completed, once they are done he will slow up a bit. For fans, it came as a shock to see their beloved actor being diagnosed with such a cruel disease. But for Hemsworth, it wasn’t, as his grandfather has Alzheimer, so it may have come as a genetic thing to him. He revealed that he hasn’t been in touch with his grandfather for a few years. But what he has heard from his mother is that his grandfather is a great guy.
“I haven’t seen him in a few years, but my other family members have and there are some days where he’s quite joyful and gives you a big hug. But my mum was saying he’s just a really friendly guy. I’m not sure he actually remembers much anymore and he slips in and out of Dutch, which is his original language, so he’ll be talking Dutch and English and then a mash-up and then maybe some other new words as well.”

The Spiderhead actor does know that death is unavoidable and it’s necessary to confront one’s mortality.

“Most of us, we like to avoid speaking about death in the hope that we’ll somehow avoid it. We all have this belief that we’ll figure it out. Then to all of a sudden be told some big indicators are actually pointing to this as the route which is going to happen, the reality of it sinks in. Your own mortality. “

Well, it’s not like Chris Hemsworth has already given his resignation to Hollywood. There are a lot more projects of him coming in the future and fans can just hope for the best.
