Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reportedly won’t be making their red carpet debut at the 2024 Golden Globes. According to a Page Six source, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs will be in Los Angeles for his game against the Los Angeles Chargers on January 7, the same day as the awards event. Kickoff is set at 1.25pm EST, with the red carpet beginning at 2pm EST.

For the last several Chiefs games, the 34-year-old singer has been in the stands cheering for Kelce. However, she will most certainly walk the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday because Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is nominated for an award.

The Grammy winner, whose concert film is nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, is up against Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which has grossed $250 million worldwide. According to Page Six, Kelce intends to go back to Kansas with the rest of his squad immediately following their game.

While Kelce and Swift fans must wait for their red carpet debut, the duo has been more than ready to showcase their romance in other ways. The “Anti-Hero” singer was recently photographed wearing a $850 Chiefs jacket at Kelce’s New Year’s Eve game against the Cincinnati Bengals. To sweeten the deal, the NFL player wore a matching black and white varsity jacket with a black collar on Christmas Day.

Swift and Kelce greeted 2024 together at a New Year’s Eve celebration with roughly 50 friends and family, including Kelce’s mother Donna, or “Mama Kelce,” after the 31 December game.

“And I got to exchange presents with Mama Kelce,” he went on to say.
