Back in 1999, the world marveled at Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss when they starred together as Neo and Trinity in The Matrix. The duo reprised their roles in the subsequent sequels with the last one being The Matrix Resurrections in 2021.

During an interview, Carrie-Anne Moss recalled the time she first met Keanu Reeves. Moss revealed that she was immediately comfortable with Reeves since he was such a perfect gentleman. Talking about how the actor had always been thoughtful and charming throughout the shooting of the movie, Carrie-Anne Moss stated that he still checks up on her from time to time even after more than 20 years of their first meeting!
“I remember the ease I felt the first time I met him. It could have been a stressful first meeting—a screen test, all eyes on us, Neo and Trinity together for the first time. But Keanu was just as he always is: kind, generous, and thoughtful.”
She further continued,
“We’ve played those characters for more than 20 years, including­ in last year’s The Matrix Resurrections, and he’s still the man who checks in on me during an intense training day just as he did then.”
Carrie-Anne Moss further revealed that even though there was a considerable gap between the 2003 movie The Matrix Reloaded and the 2021 movie The Matrix Resurrections, Keanu Reeves is still the man who shows up as a friend.

During her interview, Moss revealed that Keanu Reeves had always supported her during her tough times and that she is very protective of their friendship.
